How Much Can You Receive?

You don’t need a receipt to file a claim — but you can get more if you have one.

  • Without proof of purchase:

    • $2.00 per box, up to 5 boxes (max $10 per household)

    With proof of purchase:

    • $2.00 per box, no cap on the number of products claimed

Final payout amounts may be reduced or increased depending on the total number of claims submitted.

Who Can File A Claim?

Anyone 18 or older who purchased eligible Wheat Thins products labeled “100% WHOLE GRAIN” between October 13, 2018, and May 9, 2025 in the U.S. or its territories can file a claim.

Products must have been bought for personal use, not for resale. No receipt is required, but households with proof of purchase may receive a larger payout. Only one claim per household is allowed.

About

A proposed class action settlement has been reached with Mondelēz Global LLC, the maker of Wheat Thins, over allegations that the company falsely labeled certain Wheat Thins products as containing “100% Whole Grain” when they actually included refined grains.

The lawsuit claims the packaging misled consumers into believing the products were made entirely from whole grains, despite refined flour being listed among the first ingredients. Mondelēz denies any wrongdoing but has agreed to settle the case to avoid further litigation.

Products Covered by the Settlement

To qualify, you must have purchased any of the following Wheat Thins products that displayed “100% WHOLE GRAIN” on the label:

  • Original Wheat Thins

  • Reduced Fat Wheat Thins

  • Sundried Tomato & Basil Wheat Thins

  • Big Wheat Thins

  • Ranch Wheat Thins

  • Hint of Salt Wheat Thins

  • Cracked Pepper & Olive Oil Wheat Thins

  • Spicy Sweet Chili Wheat Thins
