What happened
California Creative Solutions, Inc. ("California Creative Solutions" or "CCS"), a technology services firm headquartered at 13475 Danielson Street in Poway, California, reported that it experienced a security incident affecting its computer environment. According to the company, an unauthorized party gained access to systems containing sensitive personal information. CCS says it moved quickly to secure its computer environment, conducted an investigation, and worked to identify the individuals whose information was involved.
The company filed notice with the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General and began mailing written notification letters on August 31, 2026. The notice reports that Social Security numbers were among the information involved. The Massachusetts filing lists nine Massachusetts residents as affected, and no additional states were identified in that filing, so the publicly reported total currently stands at nine individuals. Affected individuals are being offered 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity restoration services through Experian IdentityWorks, with an enrollment deadline of December 31, 2026.
The notice does not state when the unauthorized access occurred, when it was discovered, or how the intrusion happened, so the length of the gap between discovery and notification cannot yet be measured from the public filing. Contact Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion to place a fraud alert or freeze on your file. Request a free weekly credit report from AnnualCreditReport.com, and use the FTC's IdentityTheft.gov recovery guide. Because Social Security numbers were reported as involved, also watch for tax returns filed in your name and for credit inquiries or new accounts you did not open.
