What happened
On June 12, 2026, Conquest Adventures, LLC ("Conquest Adventures"), an eco-tour and birding travel operator, detected unauthorized access to its computer systems along with ransomware encryption. According to the notice filed with the Idaho Attorney General, the company launched an investigation to determine the scope of the incident and what information may have been affected.
Conquest Adventures completed its review of the affected files on July 14, 2026 and began mailing notification letters on or around July 23, 2026, reporting the incident to the Idaho Attorney General on July 24, 2026. The notice states that the involved files contained names, addresses, driver's license numbers, and passport information. The company is offering complimentary identity-theft protection services through IDX to affected individuals.
