What happened
Apex Maritime Co., Inc., which does business as K-Apex (SFO), reported to the Massachusetts Attorney General on July 14, 2026 that a recent security incident may have impacted personal information held by the company. K-Apex, a freight-forwarding firm headquartered in Burlingame, California and part of the Kerry Logistics Network, mailed notification letters to affected individuals on July 9, 2026. According to the regulatory filing, one Massachusetts resident is known to be affected.
The company's notice states there is no evidence to date that any affected information has been misused, and says it is notifying individuals out of an abundance of caution.
