What happened
According to the notice filed with the Massachusetts Attorney General, Mortgage Trade Holding Co., LLC, which does business as mTrade, conducted an internal investigation that determined certain consumer files containing personal information had been accessed without authorization. The company stated that it completed its review of the incident and began mailing written notifications to affected individuals on August 21, 2026.
