What happened
Together Women's Health, LLC ("Together Women's Health") is a women's healthcare network that partners with Aesto LLC for network services. According to the notice, an unauthorized actor accessed a limited portion of Aesto's Amazon Web Services environment between December 2 and December 18, 2025. That environment stored protected health information relating to Together Women's Health patients. Aesto detected and contained the intrusion on December 18, 2025 and engaged outside cybersecurity professionals to conduct a forensic investigation.
A manual review of the affected records was completed on May 26, 2026, and Together Women's Health began mailing notification letters to affected individuals on August 25, 2026, filing the notice with the California Attorney General the same month. The notice identifies patients' full names among the protected health information that may have been accessed and does not itemize additional data elements publicly. Together Women's Health is offering 12 months of complimentary single-bureau credit monitoring, credit report, and credit score services through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company, along with fraud assistance. Roughly eight months passed between discovery of the intrusion and notification of affected individuals, a delay that Dapeer Law is evaluating.
Because the information at issue was held for a healthcare provider network, it may be subject to protections under federal and state health-privacy laws, including HIPAA. Aesto has stated that it is not aware of any misuse of the affected information to date. The exact categories of information involved for any individual are described in that person's own notice letter.
