About

Francesca’s Acquisitions LLC agreed to a class action settlement after an alleged data breach between January 12 and January 31, 2023 exposed personal information belonging to customers and employees.

Key allegations in the lawsuit include:

  • Failure to implement adequate data security safeguards

  • Negligence in protecting personal information

  • Violation of consumer protection and data privacy laws

Francesca’s denies any wrongdoing but chose to settle to avoid further litigation costs and risks. The settlement provides reimbursement for documented losses, free credit monitoring, or a flat cash payment to qualifying class members.
