Similasan Eye Drops Class Action Settlement
About
Similasan Corp. has agreed to a $3.575 million settlement to resolve claims that it falsely advertised certain eye care products as “homeopathic,” “FDA-compliant,” and “sterile” — when they allegedly were not. The lawsuit also raises health concerns about silver sulfate, an ingredient in the products, that was not properly disclosed despite potential side effects such as decreased night vision and irreversible eye or skin discoloration.

Eligible products include a wide range of Similasan-branded and store-labeled eye drops sold by CVS and Walgreens, such as:
Similasan Dry Eye Relief, Allergy Eye Relief, Red Eye Relief, Pink Eye Relief, Stye Eye Relief
Similasan Kids Pink Eye Relief and Kids Allergy Eye Relief
Walgreens Pink Eye Drops, Stye Eye Drops, Allergy Eye Drops
CVS Pink Eye Drops
And others listed in the full notice
