What happened
Corrado Financial Group notified the Massachusetts Attorney General on June 25, 2026 that an unauthorized party gained access to certain company computer systems. According to the company, its investigation found no evidence that any information had been misused, but it determined that personal data belonging to at least one Massachusetts resident was placed at risk.
The company reports that it completed its review and began mailing notice letters to affected individuals. Those letters state that Social Security numbers were involved and offer complimentary single-bureau credit monitoring, credit reports, and credit scores for 24 months through Cyberscout, a TransUnion company, with a 90-day enrollment window. The public notice does not state the date or duration of the unauthorized access, the total number of individuals affected across all states, or the cause of the incident. These points are among the issues Dapeer Law is evaluating.
Because Social Security numbers were reportedly involved, notice recipients may face an ongoing risk of identity theft and tax-related fraud. A Social Security number cannot be easily changed, so the exposure can carry a long tail of risk even where a company reports no evidence of misuse to date.
What to do if you received a letter
Keep your notice letter

Enroll in the free 24-month credit monitoring
Enroll in the Cyberscout single-bureau monitoring offered in your letter before the 90-day deadline stated in the notice. Accepting this benefit does not waive your right to pursue legal action.
