Background

What happened

In April 2026, Infinity Globus Business Services LLC ("Infinity Globus") identified unusual activity within its email environment. The company states that it secured the affected environment and retained a third-party digital forensics firm to determine what occurred and whether any information was accessed.

On July 1, 2026, the investigation determined that an unauthorized party may have accessed emails containing sensitive personal information. Infinity Globus began mailing notification letters on August 6, 2026 and filed notice with the Massachusetts Attorney General on August 20, 2026, reporting 14 affected individuals. Roughly four months passed between the activity being identified and letters reaching recipients.

The notice reports that the compromised mailbox may have contained names, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account information, and credit or debit card numbers. That combination is among the most sensitive that can be exposed in an email compromise, because it can support both new-account fraud and direct misuse of existing payment accounts. Infinity Globus is offering 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity theft protection, together with fraud assistance and remediation services, through HaystackID.

Keep the letter, enroll in the free 24-month HaystackID credit monitoring and identity theft protection before the deadline printed in your notice, place a fraud alert or security freeze on your credit file, and review your bank and card statements closely.
