What happened
New Apostolic Church USA discovered unauthorized activity on its network on October 29, 2025. A subsequent forensic investigation determined that an unauthorized party had accessed and copied files on its systems between October 25 and October 29, 2025.
The organization completed its review of the affected files on May 29, 2026, and reported the incident to the Massachusetts Attorney General on June 27, 2026, notifying 12 Massachusetts residents whose information was involved. The public notice confirms that full names were among the data that could have been accessed, along with additional personal information described in the individual notification letters. New Apostolic Church USA is offering 24 months of complimentary credit monitoring and identity-protection services through Epiq. The roughly eight-month gap between discovery and notification is one of the factors under review.
Because the notice describes the exposed data only in general terms, the full scope of information involved for any given individual may be broader than the public filing indicates. Recipients are encouraged to review their individual letters, which itemize the specific data types affected in their case.
