What happened
Radial Entertainment, a Los Angeles-based entertainment company, has disclosed that threat actors gained unauthorized access to certain employee email accounts at various times between November 25, 2025 and February 18, 2026. According to the company's filing with the Maine Attorney General, the affected mailboxes were secured once the intrusion was detected, and the company engaged outside forensic specialists to investigate the scope of the unauthorized access.
Radial Entertainment confirmed the unauthorized access on April 16, 2026 and began mailing notification letters on May 5, 2026. A manual review of the compromised mailboxes identified emails or attachments containing personal information, including names and Social Security numbers. The company is offering complimentary identity-monitoring services through Epiq, although the duration of that monitoring is not stated in the public notice.
Whether Radial Entertainment's pre-breach email security and access controls met legal standards, why the intruders were able to maintain access for nearly three months, and the total population of individuals whose Social Security numbers were exposed are among the issues being evaluated.

Common questions
I received a data breach letter from Radial Entertainment. What should I do? +
Keep your notification letter, enroll in the free Epiq identity-monitoring service using the activation code printed in your letter, place a fraud alert or security freeze with Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion, monitor your bank, credit-card, and tax accounts for unfamiliar activity, request your free annual credit reports at AnnualCreditReport.com, and contact a data breach attorney for a free consultation. How much money could I receive from a class action lawsuit? +
Data breach class action recoveries vary significantly. Settlements typically range from a few hundred dollars for basic out-of-pocket losses to several thousand dollars for documented identity theft, with class size, damages, and negotiation all affecting the final amount. No payout is guaranteed, and this investigation has not yet resulted in a settlement.
