What happened
TouchSource, LLC reported that it discovered unauthorized access to its network occurred on or around March 13, 2026. The company states that it immediately launched an investigation in consultation with outside cybersecurity professionals to determine the extent of the compromise. According to the notice, the comprehensive investigation and document review concluded on July 6, 2026, and determined that affected individuals' full name and Social Security number were removed from the network in connection with the incident.
TouchSource notified the Massachusetts Attorney General on July 18, 2026 and began mailing notification letters to affected individuals, about four months after the incident occurred. The company reported that 2 Massachusetts residents were impacted, with a total of 2 individuals affected. TouchSource is offering impacted individuals a complimentary membership to Equifax Credit Watch Gold, though the duration of the monitoring was not specified in the notice letter.
