Poppi “Gut Healthy” Soda Class Action Settlement

Poppi has agreed to an $8.9 million class action settlement to resolve allegations that it falsely marketed its sparkling prebiotic sodas as “gut healthy.”
The lawsuit claims these health claims were misleading and not backed by reliable scientific evidence. Plaintiffs argue that consumers paid more or made purchases they wouldn’t have otherwise made due to Poppi’s marketing.
While Poppi (VNGR Beverage LLC) denies any wrongdoing, it has agreed to settle to avoid the risks and expenses of ongoing litigation.
Who Can File a Claim?
You may be eligible to file a claim if:
You purchased any flavor or package size of Poppi beverages
Your purchase occurred between January 23, 2020, and July 18, 2025
The beverages were purchased for household use in the United States (not for resale or distribution)
📌 Important: Only one claim per household is allowed. If more than one person submits a claim from the same address, it will be treated as a single claim.
What Products Are Covered by the Settlement?
All Poppi beverages — regardless of flavor or size — purchased for household use between January 23, 2020, and July 18, 2025, are included.
This includes individual cans, 4-packs, 8-packs, and 12- or 15-packs sold in stores or online.
How Much Can You Receive?
Class members may be eligible for a cash payment of $5 or more, depending on how many Poppi products they purchased and whether they provide proof of purchase:

$0.75 per single can (12 oz or 16 oz)
$3 per 4-pack
$6 per 8-pack
$9 per 12- or 15-pack
❌ Without Proof of Purchase
Maximum of $16 per household
Minimum payment: $5 per approved claim
