Edgar Cruz, Esq.

Edgar Cruz is an associate attorney at Dapeer Law, where he represents consumers in complex class action litigation involving privacy violations, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and false advertising and mislabeling. He is dedicated to holding corporations accountable for unlawful conduct and securing meaningful relief for individuals harmed by deceptive business practices.

Prior to joining Dapeer Law, Edgar practiced insurance defense, where he litigated personal injury, construction defect, and premises liability matters on behalf of corporate and insurance clients. This experience gives him a strategic understanding of how large defendants evaluate risk, approach litigation, and resolve claims—insight he now leverages to advance the interests of consumers facing well-resourced corporate adversaries.

Edgar earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, where he served as Managing Editor of the International and Comparative Law Review. His scholarly note on asylum law was selected for publication. Fluent in Spanish, Edgar is committed to making the legal process accessible, transparent, and client-focused for the individuals he represents.
