They set real expectations and keep you in the loop the entire time. We're finalizing my second case and I'm 10000% satisfied with the results.
This law firm is one of the best attorneys I've ever worked with. Very professional. They get the job done.
Astounding performance and professional on every level. Their courtesy was the best I've ever come across, and their caring for others is absolutely extraordinary.
"We don't take cases unless we believe in them. Period."
Rachel Dapeer · Founding attorneyA consumer firm that actually cares.
Dapeer Law, led by Rachel Dapeer, focuses exclusively on class actions for consumers. We're a boutique firm by design, smaller than the national giants, faster to respond, and choosier about the cases we take. If we don't think you have a case, we'll tell you. No runaround.
Some businesses engage in deceptive practices that harm large numbers of people in similar ways: bait-and-switch advertising, abusive robocalls, hidden auto-renewals, biometric data collection without consent. These violate state and federal consumer protection laws that afford real rights to ordinary people, and we help consumers enforce them.
$875M+ is sitting there. Some of it might be yours.
Companies settle class actions every week. The money is real and the deadlines are short. We track every open settlement so you don't have to.
How much does a case review cost? +
Nothing. Case reviews are 100% free, with no obligation. If we take your case, we work on contingency, you only pay if we win, and the fee comes out of the recovery, not your pocket.
How much money can I expect to recover? +
It depends entirely on the case. Data breach settlements typically range from a few hundred dollars for documentation-light claims up to several thousand dollars for documented losses, plus credit monitoring. Spam-text cases under the TCPA can be $500 to $1,500 per text. False advertising and auto-renewal cases vary widely. We'll give you a realistic range during your free case review based on the specifics of what happened to you.
How do I know if I have a case? +
Most people don't, until they ask. The easiest way to find out is to submit a short form or call us. We'll tell you straight up whether you have a case, and if you don't, we'll explain why.
Why choose Dapeer Law over a bigger national firm? +
Two reasons. First, we're boutique by choice, your inquiry doesn't sit in a queue behind 10,000 others. We typically respond within 1 to 3 business days, and you'll talk to an actual attorney, not an intake center. Second, we focus exclusively on consumer class actions in our practice areas. We know these cases cold. Big firms spread thin across dozens of practice areas; we don't.
What if I just got a data breach notice? +
Hold onto the letter. It contains the codes you'll need for credit monitoring and is important evidence if a class action follows. Then submit it to us for a free review, we investigate dozens of breaches every year.
How long does a class action take? +
Anywhere from 9 months to several years, depending on the case. We are upfront about timelines from day one. Most cases settle without ever going to trial.
Will I have to go to court? +
Almost never. Class members rarely have to attend any court proceedings. The named plaintiffs (the lead consumers) might give a deposition, but for the typical class member, you usually just file a claim form when the settlement is approved.
Where can I see your past results? +
