About
Did you drive for Uber or Lyft in Massachusetts between July 14, 2020, and July 2, 2024?
If so, you may be entitled to a cash payment from a massive $175 million settlement.
Uber Technologies Inc. and Lyft Inc. have agreed to pay a combined $175 million to resolve a lawsuit filed by the Massachusetts Attorney General. The lawsuit alleged that the companies misclassified drivers as independent contractors, denying them minimum wage, benefits, and other legal protections under state law.
While Uber and Lyft deny any wrongdoing, the companies have agreed to settle the case to avoid the expense and uncertainty of a trial.
