Venetian Las Vegas Gaming, LLC agreed to a settlement totaling $1.6 million over allegations that it disclosed website users' guest record information and confidential communications to third parties without permission, in violation of the California Invasion of Privacy Act. California residents who, while in California, browsed venetianlasvegas.com or booked a Venetian hotel stay through that website between September 18, 2024 and March 16, 2026 can claim a pro rata share of one of two funds. The claim deadline is November 24, 2026, and the online claim portal opens September 22, 2026.

You are a Class Member if ALL of the following apply:
- You are a California resident and you were in California at the time.
- Browsing Class: you accessed or navigated the Venetian Las Vegas website (venetianlasvegas.com) between September 18, 2024 and March 16, 2026.
- Booking Class: you made a reservation for a Venetian hotel stay through that website during the same period.
- No receipts or booking records are required to submit a claim.
- Excluded: Anyone who was outside California when they used the website, and anyone who is not a California resident.
- Excluded: Anyone who excludes themselves from the settlement by the November 24, 2026 deadline.

What happened
The class action alleges that Venetian disclosed its website users' guest record information and confidential communications to third parties without permission, in violation of the California Invasion of Privacy Act, California Penal Code sections 631 and 632. The case covers activity on venetianlasvegas.com by California residents located in California between September 18, 2024 and March 16, 2026, and it splits the class in two: people who simply browsed the site, and people who booked a hotel stay through it.
Venetian denies that it violated any law but agreed to the settlement to avoid the uncertainties and expenses of continuing the case. The Court has not decided who is right. If approved, Venetian will establish a Booking Settlement Fund of $931,713.50 and a Browsing Settlement Fund of $668,286.50, with notice and administration expenses, attorneys' fees and costs, and the service award paid proportionally out of both funds.

1. Confirm which class you are in
If you are a California resident who, while in California, visited venetianlasvegas.com between September 18, 2024 and March 16, 2026, you are in the Browsing Class. If you also booked a Venetian hotel stay through that website in the same window, you are in the Booking Class, which is paid from the larger fund.

2. Understand what you can receive
Each class is paid pro rata, meaning the fund for your class is divided into equal shares among everyone who files a valid claim. The Booking Settlement Fund is $931,713.50 and the Browsing Settlement Fund is $668,286.50. Because payments depend on how many valid claims come in, no per-person amount is available yet.

3. File online or by mail
The online Claim Form opens on September 22, 2026 at venetianlasvegassettlement.com and claims are due November 24, 2026. You can also mail a paper Claim Form to: Venetian Las Vegas Settlement, P.O. Box 3278, Portland, OR 97208-3278, or call 1-877-367-1772 to request one. The Long Form Notice, Settlement Agreement, and Preliminary Approval Order are posted on the Documents page of the settlement website.

4. Receive your payment
Payments are issued roughly 45 days after the settlement is finally approved and any appeals process is complete. Checks expire 180 days after they are issued, so cash yours promptly. No follow-up is required once your claim is submitted.

The Final Fairness Hearing is scheduled for December 3, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. PT before the Honorable P. Casey Pitts in Courtroom 8, Robert F. Peckham Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, 280 South 1st Street, San Jose, CA 95113. The Court may move the hearing, so check VenetianLasVegasSettlement.com for updates before traveling.
Where the money is going
Venetian will establish two separate funds totaling $1,600,000. Notice and administration expenses, attorneys' fees and costs, and the service award are paid proportionally out of both funds before the remainder is divided pro rata among valid claimants in each class.
All amounts listed above are pending and subject to final court approval at the Fairness Hearing. The Court may award less than the amounts requested. The "available for class members" figure is an estimate derived from the stated caps, not a number published by the administrator, and each class is paid pro rata out of its own fund.

Do I need to submit proof of purchase?
No receipts, booking confirmations, or browsing records are required. You submit a Claim Form attesting that you are a California resident who accessed venetianlasvegas.com, or booked a Venetian stay through it, while in California between September 18, 2024 and March 16, 2026.
What if I didn’t receive a notice?
You can still file. The claim portal at venetianlasvegassettlement.com opens September 22, 2026 and is open to anyone who meets the class definition. If you have questions or need a paper Claim Form, call Epiq at 1-877-367-1772 or write to P.O. Box 3278, Portland, OR 97208-3278.
Does staying in the class affect my right to sue later?
If you stay in the settlement, you give up your right to sue Venetian over the website disclosure claims in this case, whether or not you file a claim. To keep that right, you must exclude yourself by November 24, 2026, which is the same date as the claim and objection deadlines.
When will payments be sent out?
