What happened

This lawsuit, Foley v. Adams Auto Corp. d/b/a Adams Toyota, claims that Adams Toyota violated statutory and other legal requirements when it sold vehicles with required ResistAll/EnviroGuard add-on products. The case is pending in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, Missouri, at Independence, and the Class Representative is Erin Foley.

Adams Toyota denies all liability, and the Court has not decided who is right. The parties agreed to settle to avoid the costs and risks of continued litigation. The settlement website states that relief may include money and debt reduction.
