Do you qualify?
You are a Class Member if ALL of the following apply:
- You created an account on the Call-On-Doc website while in California on or after November 7, 2023; or
- You were a registered Call-On-Doc user and started to book an appointment for medical care in California (regardless of whether you completed the appointment) on or after November 7, 2021.
- Excluded: The Judge presiding over this case and the Judge's family and staff; Call-On-Doc and its officers, directors, and related companies; and anyone who validly excludes themselves from the Settlement.

What happened
This lawsuit, Lucas v. Call-On-Doc, Inc., alleges that Call-On-Doc's use of third-party tracking technologies, known as tracking pixels, on its website violated the California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA). The complaint claims the pixels allowed third parties to access and collect information about visitors' website activity without their consent. The case is pending in the Circuit Court of Will County, Illinois, and the Class Representative is Charlie Lucas.
Call-On-Doc denies that it did anything wrong, and the Court has not decided who is right. The parties agreed to settle the case to avoid the costs, risks, disruptions, and uncertainties of continued litigation.

1. Confirm you are eligible
You must have created a Call-On-Doc account while in California on or after November 7, 2023, or been a registered Call-On-Doc user who started booking a medical appointment in California on or after November 7, 2021.

2. There's nothing to calculate
Every valid claim is paid the same flat amount, up to $20.00 per Class Member. No purchase history or account records need to be submitted with your Claim Form.

3. File online or by mail
Submit the Claim Form online at CallOnDocCIPASettlement.com/form/claim by August 29, 2026, or mail a paper Claim Form (postmarked by August 29, 2026) to: Call-On-Doc Pixel Settlement, c/o Settlement Administrator, PO Box 25191, Santa Ana, CA 92799-9958.

4. Receive your payment
Payments are issued after the Court grants final approval at the August 31, 2026 Final Approval Hearing and any appeals are resolved. The appeal process can take a year or more. No follow-up is required once your claim is submitted.

The Final Approval Hearing is scheduled for August 31, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. Central Time in Courtroom 902 of the Circuit Court of Will County, Illinois, 100 W. Jefferson Street, Joliet, IL 60432, or virtually via Zoom (Meeting ID: 815 7615 7370). The Court may move the hearing, so check CallOnDocCIPASettlement.com for updates before traveling.
Where the money is going
The Notice, FAQ, and settlement website do not disclose a total Settlement Fund figure. Call-On-Doc pays a flat cash payment of up to $20.00 to each Class Member who submits a valid and timely Claim Form, and separately pays Class Counsel's attorneys' fees, litigation costs, and the Class Representative's service award. Third-party settlement-tracking reports put the total value of the settlement at approximately $1.8 million; that figure does not appear in the official settlement documents.
All amounts listed above are subject to final Court approval at the August 31, 2026 Final Approval Hearing. The Court may award less than the amounts requested. The Notice does not state a total Settlement Fund figure; contact the Settlement Administrator with questions about the fund.
Common questions
How much money will I receive?
Each Class Member who submits a valid and timely Claim Form will receive a cash payment of up to $20.00. The Notice does not say whether this amount could be reduced if a large number of Class Members file claims; contact the Settlement Administrator for the current payment estimate.
Do I need to submit proof of purchase?
No. The Notice and FAQ state that all Class Members are eligible to submit a claim for a cash payment and do not describe a documentation or proof-of-purchase requirement for filing a Claim Form.
What if I didn’t receive a notice?
Call-On-Doc's records were used to identify Class Members, and you may have received a notice directly from Call-On-Doc in addition to this court-authorized Notice. If you believe you qualify under the class definition but did not receive a notice, contact the Settlement Administrator at 1-833-421-7259 or info@CallOnDocCIPASettlement.com for help confirming your eligibility and filing a claim.
Does staying in the class affect my right to sue later?
Yes. Unless you exclude yourself (opt out) by mailing a written Request for Exclusion postmarked by August 10, 2026, you will be bound by the Settlement and will release your right to sue Call-On-Doc separately over the tracking pixel claims resolved in this case. When will payments be sent out?
The Court will hold the Final Approval Hearing on August 31, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. Central Time. Payments will only be issued after the Court grants final approval and any appeals are resolved, which can take a year or more. No action is required after a valid Claim Form is submitted; check CallOnDocCIPASettlement.com for updates.
