What happened
This lawsuit, Doe, et al. v. GoodRx Holdings, Inc., et al., alleges that GoodRx disclosed users' personal and health-related information to third parties, including advertising and analytics companies, through pixels, SDKs, cookies, and similar tracking technologies on its websites and apps. GoodRx and advertising company Criteo Corp. have agreed to settle. Claims against the remaining defendants, Meta Platforms, Inc. and Google LLC, are not part of this settlement and continue. The case is pending in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California before Judge Araceli Martínez-Olguín.
GoodRx and Criteo deny that they violated any law, dispute the allegations, and believe they have valid defenses. The Court has not decided who is right. The parties agreed to settle to avoid the expense and uncertainty of continued litigation.

Where the money is going
This is a non-reversionary $32,000,000 common fund paid by GoodRx and Criteo. Attorneys' fees, litigation expenses, service awards, and notice and administration costs come out of the fund before equal payments are calculated for approved claimants. Money from uncashed checks may be redistributed to claimants, and any final remainder goes to the Center for Internet and Society at Stanford Law School as cy pres, subject to Court approval.
All amounts above are requested caps and subject to final Court approval at the February 11, 2027 Final Approval Hearing. The Court may award less. The service award total assumes six named Plaintiffs, as listed in the case caption. The estimated amount available does not reflect administration costs, which have not been disclosed.
