What happened
Plaintiff Rahil Doctor brought this class action against Posh Group, Inc. alleging that Posh charged California residents fees on event ticket purchases that were not disclosed in the advertised ticket price. The lawsuit contends that consumers paid more than the price they saw when browsing events because additional fees were added at checkout.
Posh denies all allegations of wrongdoing and asserts that it did nothing wrong. The parties agreed to settle to avoid the cost, risk, and uncertainty of continued litigation. The proposed $1.2 million settlement remains subject to final court approval.

Where the money is going
This is a non-reversionary common fund of $1.2 million. Attorneys' fees, litigation expenses, the class representative's incentive award, and notice and administration costs are deducted from the gross fund before payments are calculated for class members.
All deduction amounts are pending final court approval at the September 28, 2026 hearing. The Court may award less than the amounts requested. Each electing class member receives a pro rata share of the net fund, capped at $15.00. If total valid elections exceed the net fund, payments will be reduced proportionally.
Common questions
How much money will I receive?
Each class member who elects to receive a payment will receive a pro rata share of the net settlement fund, up to a maximum of $15.00. The actual amount depends on the total number of class members who choose to receive a payment and the amount of court-approved deductions from the $1.2 million gross fund.
Do I need to submit proof of purchase?
No documentation is required. If Posh identified you as a potential class member, you received a notice. If you are eligible and were not notified, contact the Settlement Administrator at (855) 792-6106 or visit TicketFeeSettlement.com for assistance.
What if I didn’t receive a notice?
If you believe you are a class member but did not receive a notice, contact the Settlement Administrator at (855) 792-6106 or write to ILYM Group, Inc., P.O. Box 2031, Tustin, CA 92781. Settlement notices were sent to California residents identified by Posh as potential class members.
Does staying in the class affect my right to sue later?
If you stay in the settlement, you give up the right to sue Posh separately for claims related to the undisclosed ticket fees alleged in the lawsuit. To preserve your right to sue independently, you must opt out by mailing a signed exclusion request postmarked by June 8, 2026.
When will payments be sent out?
Payments will be distributed after the Court grants final approval at the September 28, 2026 hearing and any objections or appeals are resolved. The process can take several months after final approval. Check TicketFeeSettlement.com for updates.
