What happened

This lawsuit, Stoneham v. Interactive Memories, Inc. d/b/a Mixbook, claims that Mixbook deceptively advertised discounts on products sold through mixbook.com. The plaintiffs assert claims under the consumer protection laws of California, Oregon, and Washington, along with quasi-contract and unjust enrichment, breach of contract, breach of express warranties, intentional misrepresentation, and negligent misrepresentation. The case is pending in the Circuit Court of the State of Oregon for the County of Multnomah, and the Class Representatives are Ally Stoneham, Christine Dumm, and Joseph Kelley.

Mixbook denies the claims and denies any liability or wrongdoing, and the Court has not decided who is right. The parties agreed to settle to avoid the cost and risk of further litigation. Mixbook will pay attorneys' fees, service awards, and administration costs separately, so those amounts do not reduce class members' $12 awards.

How to file a claim

  • 1. Confirm you are eligible

You must have bought a product advertised at a discount on mixbook.com while in California, Oregon, or Washington between June 1, 2022 and March 1, 2026, and not canceled or been fully refunded for it.

  • 2. Choose cash or credit

Each class member receives a $12.00 award. If you file a valid claim, you get it as cash by electronic payment or check. If you do nothing, you automatically get a $12.00 Mixbook website credit that does not expire, has no blackout dates, and can be stacked or transferred.

  • 3. Get the details from the settlement website

To choose cash, get claim instructions from the official settlement website at MBPricingSettlement.com and file by December 28, 2026, or mail a paper claim postmarked by that date. You must attest under penalty of perjury that you made a qualifying purchase. The Settlement Administrator's general mailing address is 1650 Arch Street, Suite 2210, Philadelphia, PA 19103.

  • 4. Receive your award

Cash payments and website credits are distributed only after the Court grants final approval at the December 11, 2026 Final Approval Hearing and any appeals are resolved, which can take more than a year if there is an appeal.

Where the money is going

This settlement does not create a single cash fund. Every class member receives a $12.00 award, as cash with a valid claim or as a website credit otherwise, and the Notice estimates the total value of those cash payments and credits at about $1,993,608. Mixbook pays attorneys' fees and expenses, service awards, and notice and administration costs separately, so they do not reduce class members' awards.

Estimated total value of cash benefits and website credits ~$1,993,608
Attorneys' fees and expenses (paid separately by Mixbook) Up to $519,300
Service awards ($5,000 × 3 reps, paid separately) Up to $15,000
Notice & administration costs (paid separately, estimated) ~$64,000
Award per class member $12.00

Fees, service awards, and administration costs are requested or estimated amounts and remain subject to Court approval at the December 11, 2026 Final Approval Hearing. The Court may award less than requested. The $1,993,608 figure is the Notice's estimate of total benefit value, not a guaranteed cash fund.
