NYC Senior Care Retiree Co-Pay Class Action Settlement
The City of New York agreed to settle claims that Medicare-eligible retirees were wrongly charged $15 co-pays under the EmblemHealth-administered GHI Senior Care plan, covering about $53 million in co-pays from January 2022 through January 2023. With proof of payment you can be reimbursed in full, and without documents you can still claim up to $100. Claims are due October 30, 2026.
